Food for HOPE Program
Cooking Circles are monthly support groups in which families come together to cook meals and snacks that meet the requirements of specific dietary guidelines. While cooking together, parents get to share ideas and stories and receive encouragement to stay strong on their path. To join a cooking circle, contact Annmarie (Butera) Cantrell, at ambutera@verizon.net, or by using the contact form on this site. Annmarie would be happy to discuss with you the details of the diet you are currently following, and make accomodations for any restrictions during the classes. You will receive all the recipes at the class, as well as samples to take home and try with your children. Food for HOPE Program Guide Food for HOPE - Healthy Options for Picky Eaters is a step-by-step process that allows families to experience their children's healing using dietary changes. Individual consultations help families identify the ultimate goal for their child's health, healing and development. We also identify challenges surrounding diet changes for your child. One-on-one consultation provides families with step-by-step ideas to incorporate manageable dietary changes. Together, we work with the child's preferred foods and begin to substitute more nutritionally dense alternatives. Consultation includes cooking support in the home: how to use these new foods in cooking, as well as menu planning and time-saving tips to ease your time in the kitchen. Families will receive email support, recipes and resource information. Different packages to choose from include:
Consultations can also be customized according to your needs. Most consultation sessions last between two and three hours. Contact Annmarie at at ambutera@verizon.net, at 215-499-8105, or by using the contact form on this site, for more information and to set up a consultation. | |
